ABF Freight to Host Salt Lake City Area Hiring Event

FORT SMITH, Ark., Oct. 12, 2021 /PRNewswire/ -- ArcBest® (Nasdaq: ARCB), a leader in supply chain logistics, is pleased to announce that its less-than-truckload carrier, ABF Freight®, will host a two-day hiring event October 18 and October 19 in Salt Lake City, Utah seeking candidates for both its Salt Lake City service center and its nearby Ogden service center.   

At their Salt Lake City service center, ABF is hiring full-time and part-time Class A CDL city drivers, full-time forklift operators/driver trainees and part-time forklift operators. At their Ogden service center, they are hiring full-time and part-time Class A CDL city drivers and full-time forklift operators/driver trainees.

For candidates at the Salt Lake City service center, ABF is offering signing bonuses of $10,000 for full-time city drivers and $5,000 for full-time forklift operators/driver trainees. For candidates at the Ogden service center, ABF is offering signing bonuses of $7,500 for full-time city drivers and $2,500 for full-time forklift operators/driver trainees. Driver and driver trainee candidates should be at least 21 years old, and forklift operator candidates should be at least 18 years old.

On October 18 and October 19, ABF will host interested candidates from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. at its Salt Lake City service center located at 55 South Redwood Road, Salt Lake City, UT. No appointment is necessary.

  • Potential job offers made that day
